Our Logo

Our logo was first adopted by our first Director Late Dr. D.L. Deshpandey.

It contains the representative symbols from three major branches of engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Gears), Electrical Engineering (Electrical Power) and Civil Engineering (A bridge), first one established and started at BIT Sindri. These representative symbols are inherent part of all other branches of engineering also.

It is inscribed "Niyatam Kuru Karma Tvam" (Bhagwat Geeta Chapter 3: Verse 8). It means perform your prescribed duty"
