Annual meet
of BITSAA, BIT Sindri Alumni Association - Bermo Chapter was
held at Tenughat guest house on 10th Jan 2010. A much
awaited annual event was attended by around 100 alumni
residing in & around Bermo Sub division.
Sri J.K
Singh, Chief engineer BTPS B Plant a 1973 Batch Mechanical
alumni, Sri A.K. Ojha G.M, Tata Steel West Bokaro Raw coal
division, 1968 Batch Mechanical grad, Sri Umashankar Singh,
G.M, Dhori area, Sri Basudeo Prasad DGM, TVNL and many
enthusiastic Alumni attended the same.
The guest of
honour who made it a point to attend the meet included Dr
(Prof) S.K. Singh, Director BIT Sindri, Prof. Om Prakash
H.O.D. Deptt. Of Chemical engineering, Prof Dr. D.K. Singh,
H.O.D Electronics & IT, Prof Pankaj Rai and Prof F. Ansari.
Prof Pankaj
Rai, Academic in-charge informed the gathering that ODC’s
were ready and he could be contacted for the same.
Director Prof
S.K. Singh said he wants more and more such chapters should
come up and work for the institute as a whole. Moral support
of Alumni in running such a big and prestigious institute is
a blessing for him.
Sri Ojha
stressed that Personality development programmes should be
initiated in the institute as a compulsory programme so that
our techies have confidence enough to face the world.
Vote of
thanks was accorded by Sri Chitranjan Kumar and the
programme was conducted by Sweta Kumari and Amita Kumari. |
